Move Smart Week

“Move Smart Week” is a new joint initiative between the Nutrition and Health Foundation (NHF) and the Camogie Association that will run in various locations across the country in 2012 for the first time from 2nd to 8th July 2012. Its mission is to show the children and parents of Ireland how to get moving in a fun way, with their communities and make the choice for a healthier more active lifestyle. During this week, a number of programmes and activities will take place nationwide through the Camogie Association’s clubs. These fun activities are open to all ages and all genders. You can find a full list of these activities in the attached document below and on the Camogie Association's website.

“Move Smart Week” will complement the NHF’s annual “Eat Smart Week” which took place in April 2012. Links to recipes (including a special book of family favourite recipes) and handy tips can be found NHF Eat Smart Week.

The partnership is also working on further initiatives in the health and nutrition space.
